The Hazardous Emergency Assistance Team (H.E.A.T.) is a countywide group of firefighters, EMTs, paramedics, and other rescue personnel who respond to hazardous material incidents. Members of H.E.A.T. have special training to prepare for these incidents. Members train monthly to maintain their skills and learn new ones. Hazardous materials are all around us. H.E.A.T. is there to help contain and clean up these spills. |
