Bike Helmet Program

Willmar Ambulance Service participates in a Bike Helmet Program to inform, educate, enforce, and enable the community.

Inform
Keep the community informed about the dangers of riding a bicycle without a helmet.

Educate
To give children the right tools to make an informed decision.

Enforce
Reward children for good bicycle safety habits.

Enable
Ensure that all children in the community have resources to protect them from injury.

Bike helmets are given to those who do not have them. This program is funded through donations.

If you have any questions, would like to donate to help purchase helmets, or are in need of a helmet, please contact Carrie Yungerberg at 320.231.4568.
