Sonshine Music Festival
Willmar Ambulance has been providing first aid for many years at Sonshine Music Festival . During the 3 day festival, over 150 volunteers help with patient care in the first aid tent. Patients are treated for minor problems such as blisters, headaches, sunburn and small cuts, to major injuries and illnesses such as dehydration, heart problems, neck or back injuries, broken bones and sprained bones. On site at Sonshine, we have everything a mini Emergency Room would have. We even have a giant air conditioner to keep the tent cooled down for patients that are over heated. With the first aid tent on site, very few people need to be transported to Rice Hospital.
