The purpose of Willmar Ambulance's bike safety program is to Inform, Educate, Enforce, and Enable the community.
| Inform Keep the public informed of the dangers of riding a bicycle without a helmet. |
Educate To give children the right tools to make an informed decision. |
Enforce Reward children for good bicycle safety habits |
Enable Ensure that all children in the community have resources to protect themselves from injury. |
Bike helmets are given to those who do not have them. This program is funded through donations. If you have any questions or are in need of a helmet, please contact Carrie Yungerberg 320-231-4021.
